Process
Every custom piece starts with a conversation. Whether through email or a quick call, we'll discuss your vision, timeline and cost estimate.
Some questions I’ll ask:
✔️ Who is the commission for?
✔️ When do you need the final artwork in hand?
✔️ Do you have specific details in mind? Maybe a certain building, a favorite flower, or a color scheme that speaks to you. Reference photos are incredibly helpful!
✔️ Where will this artwork live? A bright living room? A cozy office?
✔️ Do you have a preferred size for the final artwork piece?
Once I have the details from our initial consult I will provide a quote via email for your commission. The price will reflect the size and complexity of your commission.
The quote will combine artwork + sales tax + $10 shipping costs.
I understand everyone's budgets vary and there is never any pressure to move forward after you're provided a quote for a commission!
If you'd like to move forward with your commission:
✔️ Sign contract, agreeing to scope, price and timeline
✔️ Pay 50% deposit
✔️ Review your Design Brief, it will contain all of the details discussed in our consult call and may ask you to provide additional information or email over reference photos.

Quick Consult
Within your contract, it will state the date you'll receive a mockup of the final artwork. I'll email over the initial design where you will review and approve:
✔️ Size
✔️ Layout and Spacing
✔️ Color palette
I request approval within 48 hours of receipt so we can stay on track with our agreed upon timeline. Then I get to work painting!

Initial Design Approval
You'll receive an email from me with a photo (if desired) of the final artwork! I'll confirm shipping details one final time and then package and send your artwork to you.
Prior to shipment, the remaining 50% is due.
You receive all the tracking details and since your artwork is coming all from Vienna, Austria I will keep my eye on it as well and update you as it nears delivery.
Shipping to the US from Austria typically takes 10-14 days.

Commission FAQs
Kelly, you live in Vienna, Austria and I'm in the US. Should I be concerned about shipping?
I've shipped dozens of packages back to the US and they've all arrived safe and sound, within 10-14 days. I package each piece with extra care and extra packaging to prevent damage and I always insure each package. In your initial consult, we will also make sure that your timeline allows for a little extra for unexpected mail delays.
How much does it cost for a commission?
Each commission is unique and the price will vary depending on the artwork size and complexity. I understand that everyone has different budgets and I will work with you to find what we can accomplish within your price range! I'm always happy to discuss the art of the possible and there's never any required commitment for having an initial consult call.
For reference, here are starting price points for a few, very specific, commissions types I offer:
+ 5x7" fine jewelry watercolor or black ink illustration, $125
+ 5x7" watercolor of your reference photo (architecture, travel destination, etc), starts at $175
+ 8x10" birth month floral bouquet, starts at $225
