ABOUT
Kelly Swain is a watercolor artist who draws inspiration from historic architecture and vintage European patterns and brings them to life through her illustrations and surface pattern designs.
Born and raised in Minnesota, moved to northern Virginia after college, Kelly now resides in Vienna, Austria, with her husband and dog Bolo. Her work has always been inspired by the vintage aesthetic and historic architecture, and now even more so since living in Vienna and traveling extensively. Kelly’s art is a blend of refined detail and warm, inviting style, capturing the charm of the old world with a fresh, modern touch.
She is a Product Manager by day and painting and designing is ensuring the right side (creative side) of her brain stays active!
Kelly's favorite projects are those that are collaborative and customized for the client she's working with, often those with sentimental value.
